This beautiful hand painted table globe is based on a 200 year old Chinese art form, which started with the European demand for hand-painted snuff bottles in the 1800s. This is a very unique art form, where all of the art is hand painted on the inside of the hand-blown glass globe through a small opening at the base of the ball ... all with long narrow curved bamboo brushes. This art form is unique to China. A smaller version of it's 5" counterpart, this stunning piece is perfect displayed on a desk or a trophy shelf. Gorgeous in its simple design, it's breathtaking beauty is sure to inspire and amaze guests, visitors and clients who see it for the unique piece of hand painted art work that it really is.
